Colorado Wills & Estates Probate Portal

Security & Privacy

Your estate information is safe here

Settling an estate means sharing sensitive family and financial details. This portal was built so that information stays between you and your attorney — and no one else.

Only you and your attorney can see your estate

Every estate is private. You can only ever see your own estate's information — never another client's — and your attorney is the only other person with access. There is no way to browse or search other estates.

Sign-in protected

Your account is protected by your email and a password only you know. Clients are added by invitation from your attorney — strangers cannot create an account and reach your information.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Everything you type or upload travels over an encrypted connection (the padlock in your browser's address bar) and is stored encrypted on professionally managed, access-controlled servers.

Your documents stay private

Wills, death certificates, deeds and other uploads are stored in private storage. Files can only be downloaded by someone signed in with permission to that estate — there are no public links.

Attorney-only information stays attorney-only

Notes and court forms your attorney prepares are kept in a separate area that clients cannot see, and client entries are drafts until your attorney reviews and accepts them.

Independently checked

The portal's security settings and code are reviewed with automated security scanning, and its software packages are kept up to date and checked against known vulnerability databases.

Questions about how your information is handled? Ask your attorney — Colorado Wills & Estates can answer anything about what is stored and who can see it.
